7/12/07: Harry Rogers just passed away in Boca Raton, Florida just short of his 105th birthday.  Harry, along with Jimmy Walters were the leaders from the referee side that were instrumental in getting NISOA started. What a long life, and he refereed until he was 99 years of age.

  NISOA INTERNATIONAL REFEREE EXCHANGE PROGRAM 

The 31st Annual NISOA College Soccer Referee Training Camp to be held at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania July 8 – 12, 2007 welcomes Davide Carbini and Francesco Capraro from th Italian Referee Association, Rome, Italy as our International Exchange Program Guests. Both Mr. Carbini and Capraro will give technical presentations on soccer officiating.

In addition, Patrick Adoo, Alex Quartey and Bariman Stephen Yaw from the Ghana referees Association will also be in attendance. We are planning for the Ghana National Television Crew to televise the Camp program so they can return and show the NISOA Referee training on the Ghana Television Network.

NISOA continues in the forefront of encouraging the use of International exchange for not only improving the quality of officiating at the College Level, but also to learn more about the culture and people from other countries. (added 6/24/2007)

The 2007 NISOA referee Training Camp, to be held at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA - July 8-12, 2007, will have the largest group ever -- 105 referees have registered for this years Camp. In addition and in keeping with the NISOA International Referee Exchange Program, two (2) Italian Referee Instructors are scheduled to teach at the 2007 NISOA Referee Training Camp.
