NISOA OFFICERS
A member of the West Coast Chapter (CA) of NISOA since 1978, Larry served as a Regional Representative for NISOA for over 17 years thru 2002. The past 4 years he served two years each as NISOA Secretary and Vice President, respectively. He is a former National Referee and is a National Clinician. The past 4 years he has served as the NISOA liaison to the NAIA Men's National soccer Championships.
As Joe takes on his new role as NISOA Vice President, he brings the experience of serving the past 2 years as NISOA Secretary (2005-06) along with over 15 years of local chapter executive board service including 2005-06 President of the New England ISOA. A member of the Greater New Haven Chapter (CT), Joe served many years as the NISOA Representative of Region 1 and as one of the Camp Directors for the NISOA Referee Training Camps.
Manuel Ortiz, Jr. – Secretary
Having joined NISOA in 1982. Manny is a member of the North Texas Intercollegiate Chapter and most recently served as the Region 9 Representative. Manny brings his extensive playoff refereeing and NCAA Division 1 Conference assignor experience to the position of NISOA Secretary. Manny, presently serves as a NISOA Regional Assessor.
Since, joining NISOA in 1980, John has been a vital member of NISOA serving as: President of NISOA (2005-06), of NJISOA (1989-90) and of CMISOA (2002-2006); Region IV representative; Convention Director for almost 20 years. Also, a member of the NISOA Executive Board; served as a National Clinician and worked at the Elizabethtown Camp for the past 17 years. John currently serves as the National Director of Instruction. In 2000, John received an NISOA Recognition Award and in 2006 was the recipient of the Ray Bernabei Honor Award.
