MOTHER OF NISOA

It is with our deepest regret and sadness that Rose Bernabei passed away on December 29, 2005 in Orlando, FL. Rose Bernabei, the wife of Executive Director Dr. Raymond Bernabei for 59 years, served as the Office Secretary for NISOA for more than 40 years and played an integral role in the day-to-day operation and development of the organization. Mrs. "B' was a fixture at NISOA events and intercollegiate soccer games for decades and a trusted advisor and friend within the NISOA family.

A 1994 inductee to the National Soccer Hall of Fame, Mrs. Bernabei graduated from The Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Business Education.

A homemaker for life, she raised (5) children: Dr. Raymond Lee Bernabei, Alan J. Bernabei, Leo J. Bernabei, Rosemary Bernabei Rocconi and Lori Jean Pursel and the family included eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

The Bernabei Family is requesting that any charitable donations be made to "The NISOA Foundation Fund" on behalf of The Rosella E. Bernabei Scholarship Fund c/o John Van de Vaarst, 1030 Ohio Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08209.
